Sometimes looking up a word is as exciting as the result of the search. When looking up "equanimity" you find the definition of "composure" and composure is defined as "calmness" or "stillness"... even though I was really hoping to end up back with "equanimity" as my end result I didn't however, I can see why all these words tie in together.
Standing on both feet equally makes me feel calm, composed and gives a greater ability to be still. Breathing equal breathes allows my mind-state to equal out, better for making good choices. ;-)
